Wylie Perry Kennington age 79 of 502 Ferguson Street died March 20,
2008.
He was born in Lancaster County, SC and was a son of the late Martin G. and Lizzie Catoe Kennington.
Mr. Kennington was a member of Davidson Street Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Irma B. Kennington of Clinton; a step-son, Mr. and Mrs. Derek Black of Clinton; a daughter, Vicki and Johnny Dease of Kershaw, SC; a granddaughter, Karen and Robert Mitchum of Kershaw; a grandson, Shane Black of Clinton; great grandchildren, Amanda and Brittany Mitchum of Kershaw; great great grandchildren, Aaliah Dease and Blake Adams, both of Kershaw.
He was predeceased by his first wife of 36 years, Dorothy Hinson Kennington, a son, Dale Kennington, six brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 22nd at 2:00 p.m. in the Davidson Street Baptist Church with interment in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
