William Eugene Wallen, age 64 of 497 Sims St. died Friday, September 24th at his home.
He was born in Whitmire and was a son of the late Evan and Euna Willis Wallen.
Mr. wallen was a retired welder with V.C. Summer Nuclear Station, a US Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and a faithful member of the Evans St. Church of God.
Surviving are two daughters, Stacy Wallen and Dana Wallen both of Whitmire; one brother, E. B. Wallen of Whitmire; two sisters, Bertie Hammond of Litchfield, IL. and Leo Bumgarner of Whitmire and one grandchild, Jaden Clark.
Mr. Wallen was predeceased by his wife, Maxine L. Wallen and a grandchild, Caden Jennings.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Sept. 27th at 2:00 p.m. in the Evans St. Church of God, burial will be in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
