William Early Heaton

William Early Heaton, age 84, of 110 Gordon St, and widower of Ethel Collier Heaton, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Greenville, SC and was the son of the late Edgar and Ola Belle Gambrell Heaton.
Mr. Heaton is retired from Clinton Mills after 50 years of service. He was active with the Boy Scouts and Youth Baseball, and was a member of Bellview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons, Gary Heaton of Charleston, Terry Heaton (Becky) of Clinton; his brothers, Walter Heaton of Clinton, Jerry Heaton of Clinton; his sister, Evelyn Bradford of Columbia, Cherly Allen of Clinton, his grandchildren, Jason Heaton, Karen Holland, Travis Heaton, Julie Cross; and great-grandchildren, Reid Holland, Anna Grace Cross, Scarlett Heaton, William T. Heaton, Caroline Heaton, Wyatt Heaton, Madeline Heaton.
In addition to his parents and his wife he is predeceased by a son, Steve Heaton, two sisters, Mildred Polson and Clara Foster.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 18 at 11 AM at Bellview Baptist Church, the family will receive friends an hour before the service from 10 to 11 AM at the church, with burial at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
