Wade Hampton Brewington Jr.

Wade Hampton Brewington, Jr., husband of Joan Edmonds Brewington, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Prisma Health – Laurens County Hospital.
He was born May 24, 1947 in Laurens, SC, and was a son of the late Wade Hampton Brewington, Sr. and Nellie Loree Patterson Brewington Smith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Brad Brewington (Dodie); his daughter, Sheila Brewington Tumblin (Bryan); his grandchildren, Heather Staton, Blake Tumblin, Ashley Stockton (Josh), Seth Brewington, and one great grandchild on the way; his sisters, Grace Brewington, and Penny Torres; and his stepsister, Wendy Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Calvin Brewington, and Henry Brewington; and his sisters, Virginia Dykas, and Helen Lovvorn.
Graveside Services will be held 3:00 PM, Monday, March 25, 2024 at Forest Lawn East Cemetery with Mr. Johnny Simmons officiating.
The family will be at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Dodie, 158 Edmonds Road, Clinton, SC 29325.
