Vernon Lunn Morris

Vernon L. Morris, age 79, formerly of Joanna, went to be with his Lord on Monday, September 26, 2016.
He was born in Hartsville, SC and was the son of the late Samuel Leroy and Neta Louise Lunn Morris.
He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant and attended Laurens Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a former member of Davidson Street Baptist Church of Clinton before moving to Fountain Inn.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Kenny L. Morris Cain and Lynn of Tucson, AZ and Ronnie L. Morris of Fountain Inn; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy Morris Bodie and George of Clinton and Violet Morris Garrett and Joey of Fountain Inn; six grandchildren, Tabatha Bodie Copeland and Heath, Jeffrey Bledsoe, William Bledsoe, Scottie Bodie and Annette, Stephanie Morris Paradise and Mark, and Jessica Garrett Yarbrough and Cameron, Scott Duty, Michael J. Cain; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret C. Morris and a brother, Jackie L. Morris.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Sept. 30th at 1:00 P.M. at Davidson Street Baptist Church with entombment in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M.

The family will be at the home of Cindy and George Bodie, 34 Sugarberry Road in Clinton.
