Tom John Davis

Tom John Davis, age 83, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Hospice of Laurens County.

Born April 2, 1943, in Monroe, NC, he was the son of the late Montie and Lattie Davis. He was a 1970 graduate of Presbyterian College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, with a minor in Physics. He enjoyed building model cars, crocheting and Corvettes.

He is survived by five children, Kelly Davis Linn, Kirk Davis (Angie), Mark Davis (Heidi), Laurie Davis Addison (Jamey) and Kim Davis Baumgarner; nine grandchildren: Kinsey, Abigayle (Justin), Jacob, Matthew, Jay, Zachary (Mary Dyson), Caroline (Hunter) and Caleb; and four great grandchildren: Elsie, Callie, Lattie and Jack. He is also survived by his best friend, Frankie Gresham (Lynn), with whom he shared many great memories.

The family will gather at the home of his daughter, Laurie Davis Addison.
