Todd Courtney McMurtury, Sr., age 45, of 37 Little Egypt Road, died Friday, July 4, 2014 in Whitmire.
He was born in Union County and was a son of Bruce McMurtury and Janet Stone McMurtury.
Mr. McMurtury was a former employee of Tidewater and was a member of the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife Melanie Bradley McMurtury of Whitmire; and his sons T.C. McMurtury and Matthew McMurtury.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Courtney Nicole McMurtury.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 7th at 3:00 p.m. in the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the church.
