Thelma Crolley

Thelma Crolley, age 98, lifelong resident of Joanna and widow of Robert Crolley, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026 at her daughter’s home.

She was born December 15, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Bridges and Sallie Emma Rucker Bridges. Thelma retired from Greenwood Mills Joanna Plant. She was a member of Joanna First Baptist Church, where she taught the three-year-old Sunday School class for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Croll (Mark) of Goose Creek. Thelma held a special place in heart for her entire family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Thelma was preceded in death by her 4 siblings, Marvin Bridges, Avery Bridges, Nadine Bridges, and Rosa Sanders.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Joanna First Baptist Church with Rev. Austin Williams and Mr. Buddy Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at the Rosemont Cemetery.

The family will greet visitors prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Church.
