Teresa Bragg Schofield

Teresa Bragg Schofield, age 76, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Simpsonville Post Acute.

She was born in Clinton, South Carolina on October 31, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Dick Bragg and Iva Dees Bragg. Teresa retired from Duke Power and was an animal lover (especially involved in dog rescues). Her family was her life, and her grandchildren were her joy.

Teresa is survived by her husband David Schofield of over 50 years; her son, Jamie Schofield (Monique) of Simpsonville; her brother, Dennis Bragg of Virginia; her sisters, Denna Harris (Jerry) of Clinton, Denise Greenland of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Darion Jamison (Ashley), Jayden Fleming, Mara Fleming; her step-grandchildren, Timberlan and Trinity Nesbitt; her great-granddaughter, Stacey Jamison.

In addition to her parents, Teresa is preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Fleming.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Clinton Church of Christ with Rev. Jerry Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memory Gardens at 11:30 AM.
