Sterling Williams

Sterling Williams, 45, passed away on December 10, 2025, at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood SC. 

He is survived by his mother, Greta Williams of Laurens SC; sister, Robyn Williams (Jene) of Duncan SC; daughters, Essence Richardson (Sidney) of Charlotte, NC, and Royal Hardwick of Moore, SC; granddaughter, Nirvana Canty; and grandmother, Martha Gamble of Laurens.

He was preceded in death by his son, J’Micha Williams. 

Sterling leaves to cherish his memory a host of loving relatives and friends. 

A Celebration of Life for Sterling will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Bethel Hall Baptist Church, 130 Garrett Drive, Laurens, SC. 

The family is receiving visitors at 21 Plank Dr., Laurens, SC.
