Sidney Lee Hazel, age 74, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at the J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home in Newberry.
He was born in Joanna, SC and was a son of Paul Hazel of Greenwood and the late Genell Bridges Hazel.
Mr. Hazel was retired from American Security as a security officer.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Jackson of Joanna and Debra Evans of Newberry; two step-daughters, Renee Sherfield and Windy Croy, both of Clinton; two brothers, Lewis Hazel of Clinton, Artie Hazel of Greenwood; two sisters, Jolene Mason of Joanna and Joyce Pitts of Newberry; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Rosemont Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Gray Funeral Home in Clinton.
