Sharon Renee Burdette

Sharon Renee Burdette, 68, of McCormick, SC, and formerly of North Augusta, SC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Via Hospice House in Clinton, SC.

She was the daughter of the late Samuel Earl Burdette and Martha Joy Burdette and was predeceased by her sister, Rita Scott.

Sharon earned her bachelor’s degree in education from USC-Aiken in 1980 and was a 1976 graduate of North Augusta High School. She spent most of her career as a Customer Service Representative within the Cable & Telecommunications industry. She also worked for Sears Corporate Sales and later as a Home Health Aide, a role especially suited to her caring nature.

Sharon genuinely loved helping others and was known for her patience, compassion and willingness to care for those in need.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Baston (Jim); and her grandchildren, Addison and Avery Baston, of Washington, Ga, and other extended family.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Via Health Partners of Clinton, SC, for their kindness, care, and support.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 12:00 pm at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens, SC.
