Ruby Cody Burden

Ruby Cody Burden, age 88, formerly of 420 Farley Ave., and widow of LeRoy Burden, died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the NHC of Laurens.
She was born in Belmont, NC and was the daughter of Daniel Louis and Oklahoma Ballard Cody.
Mrs. Burden retired from Clinton Mills and attended the Church of God.
She is survived by two sons, Roger Burden (Pat) and Mike Burden (Nancy) of Gray Court; three daughters, Delores Willette Glenn (David) of Whitmire, Janice Gosa of Duncan, and Lou Tinsdale (Butch) of Laurens; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Burden was also predeceased by three children, Carolyn Burden, James Burden and Danny Earl Burden; three brothers; and two sisters.
The family wants to acknowledge and express appreciation to the staffs at NHC of Laurens and Agape of Laurens.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 17th, at 4:00 P.M. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
