Ray Patterson

Ray Patterson, age 83, husband of Margaret Jackson Patterson, passed away July 10, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital Heart Center.
He was born in Enoree and was the son of the late Clarence and Vera Knight Patterson.
Mr. Patterson was a veteran of the United States Navy and a retired employee of Clinton Mills.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers, Paul Patterson of Clinton, and Wendell Patterson of Greenville, TN; his sisters, Mildred Shealy of Greenwood, and Faye Minter of Aiken; he is also survived by his children, Ronald Patterson (Marie) and O’Neal Patterson (Gail) both of Clinton, Danny Patterson, Vicky Patterson, and Ricky Patterson of the home, and numerous grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son James (Dinker) Patterson, his brothers Earl Patterson, and Eugene Patterson and three sisters Louise Harris, Inez McGinnis, and Grace Blakely.
Graveside services will be held at Pinelawn Memory Gardens on Monday, July 15th, at 2 p.m.
The family wishes to thank Spartanburg Regional Hospital Heart Center staff, EMS, and the Clinton Police Department for their loving care.
The family will be at their respective residence and will receive friends at the graveside following the services.
