Peggy S. Avery, age 72 of 401 N. Adair St. died Monday, November 9, 2009 at her home.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Mart D. and Ruth Ramey Satterfield.
Mrs. Avery was a retired cosmetologist and a member of the Sharon United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, George W. Avery of the home; three sons, Keith Avery and wife, Merri, Dwayne M. Avery and Steve Avery and wife, Lisa all of Clinton; two sisters, Linda McKittrick and husband, Raymond of Virginia, Dewell Proffitt of Joanna; one sister-in-law, Dot Satterfield of Clinton; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, James Satterfield.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 12th at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Jimmy Counts in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
