Omega Knight Peay

Omega Knight Peay, age 94, of Whitmire, SC passed away Thursday September 24, 2026 at NHC of Clinton.

She was born April 7, 1932 in Laurens, SC, and was a daughter of the late William Lewis Knight and Lillie Fuller Knight.

She was a loving wife, mother, and special "MigMig".

Mrs. Peay is survived by her daughter, Karon Peay Owens (Boyd); her grandchildren, Kyle Owens and Megan Owens; her great­grandchildren, Allie Owens, Jamey Owens, and Cason Owens.

Mrs. Peay was predeceased by her husband, James Aaron Peay and a son, Aaron Kirkland "Kirk" Peay. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

The family of Mrs. Peay would like to thank NHC of Clinton for their wonderful care along with Caris Healthcare.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3 PM, Sunday, September 27, 2026 from the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Whitmire with Rev. Kenny Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at the Whitmire cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 PM at the funeral home.
