Norma Mae Broome Bostic

Norma Mae Broome Bostic, age 86, of Whitmire, SC, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 30, 1936 in Whitmire and was a daughter of the late Chalmers Benjamin and Jessie Mae Conyers Broome. Norma was retired from the textile industry. She enjoyed looking for arrowheads, rocks, and collecting Bible's.
Norma was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Newberry.
She is survived by her sons, David Bostic (Joyce) and John Bostic (Tracy); her daughters, Beverly Nelson, and Sherry McEntire (Mark); brothers, Jimmy Broome, and Mike Broome; her sisters, Dorothy Senn, Brenda O'Shields, and Patricia Brooks; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty two great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Cindy Bostic and son-in-law, Lonnie Overton
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Jeff Bostic, Mike Bostic and Billy Joe Bostic; her daughter, Becky Overton; brothers, Buck Broome and F.C. Broome.
A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Bledsoe officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
