Naomi H. Bishop, age 92, of 5064 Mountville Road and widow of William Harold Bishop died Friday, January 24, 2014 at her home.
She was born in Elberton, GA and was the daughter of the late John Ross and Annie Aikins Hall.
Mrs. Bishop was retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member, Elder and Sunday School Teacher of the Little River Dominick Presbyterian Church. She was very active in the life of the church for over 70 years.
She is survived by a son, Mike Bishop of Mountville; two daughters, Cynthia Beaty of Mountville and Melissa Marshall (Larry) of Clinton; 7 grandchildren, Brandie Bishop, Michael Bishop (Donna), Jeremy Marshall (Tonya), Jared Marshall (Nicole), Georgiana Ballenger (Robby), Melanie Sward, and Chandler Beaty (Angie); 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 4:00 p.m. at the Little River Dominick Presbyterian Church in Kinards with interment in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of her son, Mike Bishop, 4989 Mountville Road, Mountville.
