Nancy Amelia Hollis, 61, was promoted to heaven on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. She was born in Clinton and was the daughter of Tommy and Amelia Hollis of Clinton.
Nancy was a Special Education Teacher at Kate Collins Middle School in Waynesboro, VA and was a graduate of Converse College and Florida Atlantic University where she earned a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Page Sayler Beckwith and husband, Joel of Newnan, GA; a son, Christopher Sayler of the home; a granddaughter, Amelia and a sister Renie Hollis Adair and husband, Charles of Clinton; nieces and nephews, Hollis Adair and C.T. Adair.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church in Clinton, SC with the family receiving friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Jaycees/Camp Hope at P.O. Box 1547, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
