Mrs. Allen Faye Brannon

Mrs. Allen Faye Brannon, age 84 wife of Robert H. “Bobby” Brannon, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Hospice of Laurens County. Born in Goldville, SC, on June 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Claude “Book” Johnson and Pearl Duckett Johnson.

Mrs. Brannon retired from Asten Press after dedicating 31 years of service. She greatly enjoyed traveling across America with her husband and cherished her retirement, especially the time spent driving her grandchildren around Joanna in her golf cart. Each of her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and was her “favorite”.

In addition to her husband of 64 years she is survived by her son, Richard L. Brannon of Clinton; her daughter, Michele Jumper of Leesville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brannon was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Mr. Buddy Bridges, with burial to follow in Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
