Margie Brown Mathis

Margie Brown Mathis age 58, of 415 Byrnes St. passed away Sunday, May 17th, 2015 at the Hospice of Laurens County.
She was born in Clinton, SC and was a daughter of the late Clayton C. and Ruby Medlin Brown.
Ms. Mathis was a CNA at Spartanburg Regional Hospital and worked in textiles for a short while.
Surviving are one daughter, Easter (Bunny) Dickson of Joanna; two grandchildren, Tyler Stroud and Taylor Riser both of Joanna and one great grandson, Rixton Alexander Riser; two brothers, Clayton “Kim” Brown and Robert J. Brown both of Clinton.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May21st, at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Chris Sullivan.
The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
The family will be at the home, 415 Byrnes St., Joanna, SC.
