Margaret B. Knight, age 84, known to many as ‘Mama Knight,’ of 3088 Sawmill Rd. died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at her home.
Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Wilmon and Elma Armstrong Baldwin. Mrs. Knight worked as a homemaker and was a member of the Highland Home Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Mitchell G. Knight, Jr. (Deb) and Walter Randall Knight, both of Gray Court; daughters Marilyn (Curtis) Barbrey of Gray Court, Gaynelle (Thomas) Wilson of Laurens, and Lana (Mike) Brewington of Gray Court; as well as a special granddaughter, Michelle Thornley , 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Mitchell Knight, Sr. and a daughter, Judy (David) Weisner of Gray Court.
A graveside service will be held at the family cemetery Tuesday, July 23, at 11:00 AM.
