Linda Johnson Whitney

Linda Johnson Whitney, age 72 of 119 Cherokee Ave. died Monday January 20, 2014 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
She was born in Kinards, SC and was a daughter of the late Champ C. and Irene Lollis Johnson.
Mrs. Whitney retired from Kangaroo Deli and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Clark Whitney (Andrea) of Simpsonville; one daughter, Karen Watts (Tim) of Union; one sister, Betty J. Motte of Clinton; grandchildren, Robert Whitney (Kalyn), Chris Watts (Loren) and Aaron Watts and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 23rd at 4:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with burial at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
