Linda Reid

Linda Reid age 63 of 168 Sinclair Ave. and widow of James Steve Reid, Sr. passed away Sunday, Jan. 26th, 2014 at the Wallace Thomson Hospital in Union.
She was born in Union and was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Margaret Garner Howell.
Mrs. Reid was an employee of Whitten Center.
Surviving are a son, James “Stevie” Reid, Jr. and his wife, Taffy; a daughter, Stephanie Reid all of Whitmire; two brothers, Harold Dean Howell of Jonesville, Kenneth Howell of Jonesville; two sisters, Carolyn Horne of Jonesville, Jackie Duncan of Pacolet; three granddaughters, Blakelee Reid, Kayla Gillian and Kyndell Reid.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 29th at 1:00 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church by Rev. Travis King and Rev. Todd Johnson with burial at the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Grace Baptist Church Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
