Lewis Eugene Lever

Lewis Eugene Lever, age 90, husband of Jackie Lever, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Newberry, South Carolina and was the son of the late Colie Lever and Carrie Richardson Lever. Lewis was veteran serving our country in the US Navy.

Lewis is survived by his wife of 70 years; his son, Curtis Lever (Linda) of Newberry; his daughter, Teresa Painter (Rick) of Newberry, his grandchildren, Crystal Borden (RJ), Melissa Lever, Brittney Williams (Ricky), Cody Lever (Wendy); his great grandchildren, Samantha White, Kaisie White, Ross Williams, Hayden White, Dalton Williams, Skarlytte Borden and his 5 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Lewis is preceded in death by his sons, Kevin Lever and Steven Lever and his brother, Charles Lever.

The family will be having a private service at Newberry Memorial Gardens.
