Laura Ashley Bishop

Laura Ashley Bishop of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2026.

Laura was born March 8, 1976 in Greenwood, SC to William (Bill) Bishop and Martha Pelham Bishop.

Laura was a 1994 graduate of Clinton High School. She attended Lander University and went on to obtain a degree in human nutrition from Winthrop University.

Laura never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone she met. She had friends far and wide and truly loved life. Known as the life of the party, Laura enjoyed gathering with friends and family over a good meal, shopping and traveling to Florida to visit her mother and extended family. Above all else, she cherished her family and her beloved soul dog, Amelia.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her partner, Ken McSwain of Waterloo, her children Matthew and Megan Redfearn of Cheraw, her sister Leslie Wolfe of Boiling Springs, nieces Rebecca Wolfe of Savannah and Leanne Wolfe of Boiling Springs; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton.

The family will greet visitors prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home.
