Larry Gene Motte

Larry Gene (Coolie)(Fargo) Motte, age 70, of 705 Trailwinds Dr. Westminster, formery of Clinton, died Monday, Jan. 13th in the Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Lydia Mill and was a son of the late William L. Motte, Sr., and Nora Lee Attaway Motte.
He was a former Clinton Police Officer and retired from Michelin Tire Company; attended Lydia Mill Church of God; served in the National Guard and was a Security Guard at Foxwood Hills.
Surviving are his wife, Gail Campbell Motte of the home, two sons, Matthew (Gina) Motte of Simpsonville and Lucas Motte of the home; two daughters, Tina Motte of Clinton and Carla Kelley (Brad) of Westminster, one sister, Peggy Wyatt of Clinton and eight grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, William L. Motte, Jr. and a sister, Janet Reeder.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 16th at 3:00 p.m. in Lydia Mill Church of God with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.at the Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of Kim and Mitchell Revis on 763 Brook Road, Clinton.
