Kenneth J. Sellars, age, 74, of 1177 Hurricane Road, died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at his home.
Born in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Audie D. and Minnie Whiteside Sellars. He was a member of the Gray Court Church of God.
Mr. Sellars is survived by his wife, Betty Sellars of the home; two sons, Donnie Sellars of Gray Court and Wayne Sellars of Woodruff; two daughters, Nancy Blalock of Union and Kim Murray of Boiling Springs; two brothers, Dean Sellars and Roy Sellars, both of Woodruff; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Faye Pyke and Clara Solesbee, a grandson and a great grandson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Gray Court Church of God with entombment at Cannon Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service.
The family will be at the home of Mr. Sellars’ sister-in-law, Barbara Hughes, Highway 14, Laurens.
