Kathryn "Kathy" Delores Moore

Kathryn “Kathy” Delores Moore, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at NHC Healthcare of Clinton.

She was born on March 17, 1949 in Laurens, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Frank Thomas Moore and Audrey King Moore Johnson. Kathy graduated from Clinton High School in South Carolina and Jacksonville State University in Alabama. She was an Educator and Administrator for the United States Defense Department in Germany and several military installations in the United States. She attended Calvary Baptist Church.

Kathy is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Anne Moore Steele (Charles); her grandsons; Danial Piester (Katelyn) and Dalton Piester; her granddaughter, Shannon Aguilar (Eldien); her great-granddaughter, Adeline Piester; her brother-in-law, John Glen Browder; her nephews, Frank Steele, Thomas Steele (Jennifer); her nieces, Rebecca Steele Lindler (Steven) and Jenny Browder.

In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by her stepfather, James Johnson; her sons, Brian Piester and Bond Piester and her sister, Sara Rebecca Moore Browder.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with Mr. John Glen Browder and Mr. Danial Piester officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. The burial will be private at Rosemont Cemetery.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Glen Browder, Danial Piester, Dalton Piester, Thomas Steele, Frank Steele, Charles Steele and Steven Lindler.
