Judy E. Sanders

Judy E. Sanders, age 83, resident of Clinton, wife of Jimmy Sanders, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at her home.

Born November 20, 1942 in Clinton, SC, Judy was the daughter of the late Andrew Houston Ellis Sr. and Hattie Eileen Brazill Ellis. She retired after many years of dedicated service at the Torrington Bearing Company. Judy was formerly a member of Lydia Baptist Church, where she served in the children’s department for many years and sang in the choir. Later, she became a devoted member of Bellview Baptist Church, also serving as a choir member.

Judy is survived by her husband of 63 years; her daughters, Jennifer Wilkes (Gregg) of Clinton and Rene´ Farr (Mark) of Strawberry Plains, TN; her brother, Andy Ellis (Jacki) of Clinton; grandchildren, Christian Farr (Tyra), Jake Farr (Nikki), and Peyton Wilkes (Kiyli); and her great-grandchildren, Caroline Farr, Abram Farr, Nolan Farr, and Raelynn Wilkes.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Reverend Milford Sanders and Marjorie Johnson Sanders.

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Bellview Baptist Church with Reverend Melvin Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.

The family will greet visitors prior to the service from 12-1 PM at the Church.
