Joy Ann Howe Roland, age 83, of 685 Martins Lake Road died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the home.
She was born in Tell City, Indiana and was the daughter of the late William Ezara and Anna Mildred Ransom Howe.
Ms. was a mother and homemaker.
She is survived by her sister, Huberta Brown (Larry); her children, Paul Kallbreier (Belinda), Margaret Bien, Mary Jane Knies (Steve), Sheila Elliott, Olivia Troyer (Steve), John Roland (Angela), Howard Roland, Amy Brown, Jessica Roland, Stephanie Calvert (Tony), Stephen David Roland, Deanna Emery (Chris); seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, William and two sons, Peter Roland and David Jennings.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8th at 3:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with burial at Rose Hill.
The family will receive friends before the service on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
