John J. Nabors, age 58, of 866 Indian Creek Road, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in the Self Regional Hospital.
He was born in Joanna and was a son of the late Jonnie and Louise Crapps Nabors.
Mr. Nabors was employed by Lanford Welding.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Merchant Nabors of the home; his son, Alec D. Nabors of Joanna; his daughter, Ashley A. Nabors of Joanna; his grandchildren, Dalton Nabors, Colton Nabors and Jayley Gibbs; his siblings, Amelia Laird of Kinards, Charles Nabors of Clinton, Penny Hill of Clinton, Dana and David Adams of Clinton, Vickie and Mike Underwood of Clinton; his son-in-law, Jason Gibbs; and his daughter-in-law, Brittney Nabors.
He was predeceased by his sister, Lana Nabors.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31st at 3 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service from 2 to 3 PM at the funeral home.
