John Wayne Lawson

 John Wayne Lawson, age 53, of Whitmire, SC, passed away, Friday, November 22, 2024, at his home. 

 Born May 21, 1971 in Batesburg, SC, he was a son of the late Billie Ann Cockerell Storey. John was formerly employed with Shakespeare in Newberry and was a member of Park Road Baptist Church in Prosperity. He had a passion for painting and art, and also enjoyed watching wrestling. 

John is survived by a beloved uncle and aunt, AG and Peggy Caudill of Whitmire.

 A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

 Gray Funeral Home of Whitmire is assisting the family with services.
