Joe Paris Parker, age 89, of Bailey Manor, Clinton, SC, passed away June 20, 2013.
He was born in Smithville, Tennessee to the late Frank and Mary Parker.
Mr. Parker graduated from the University of Tennessee and served as a Special Agent in the FBI for 32 years. His offices of assignment included Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and he served in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1960 until he retired in 1975. He was Chief Investigator in the Clark County District Attorney’s Office for three years.
He is survived by a daughter Pat Roth and her husband Benson; a granddaughter Lynnley Ross; and step-children James, John, Paul, and Frank McKee, and Harriet Hart.
He was predeceased by his wife Pauline McKee Parker, and two brothers Bailey and Ralph Parker.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Clinton with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
