Jerry Anthony Harris, Sr., age 68, of Clinton, husband of Denna Bragg Harris, passed away, Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
Born September 26, 1958 in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Bobbie Jean Jackson, and James Earl Jackson.
A graduate of Clinton High School, Jerry began his working career at the young age of 16 as a bag boy at Ingles, where his strong work ethic led him to the position of Assistant Store Manager. Above all, Jerry treasured the time he spent with his family. He found great joy in fishing, including Alaska, Michigan, and South Carolina. Whether spending time with those he loved, enjoying the outdoors, or serving his church family, Jerry lived a life centered on faith, family, and dedication to others.
In addition to his wife Denna, Jerry is survived by his children, Jerry Anthony Harris, Jr. (Jennifer), Cheryl Harris Privette (Matt), and Shanna Harris Kiselak (Bob); his brother and sister, James Earl Jackson III (Lisa), and Shirley Jean Harris (Tim). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Carson, John, Peyton, Shayne, Corbin, and Anna Kate.
