Janie Lee Bedenbaugh

Janie Lee Bedenbaugh, age 94, formerly of Joanna and widow of Jakie Bedenbaugh, Sr. passed away Sunday, September 2nd at her home.
She was born in Saluda County, and was a daughter of the late Lawrence K. and Lila Mae Berry Bedenbaugh.
She was retired from Whitten Center and was a member of the Breakthrough Tabernacle Church in Joanna.
Mrs. Bedenbaugh is survived by two sons, Tommy Gene Bedenbaugh, of Augusta, and Jerry Wayne Bedenbaugh and wife Amanda, of Joanna; two daughters, Shelby Jean Phillips of Augusta, Ga., and Patsy Joanne Linton and husband, Ray of Springfield, SC.; a daughter-in-law, Alma Bedenbaugh of Little Mountain; twenty-one grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Jakie Lee Bedenbaugh, Jr.; two sisters, Margorie Johnson and Louise Tucker; a brother, Royce Bedenbaugh; and a grandchild, Robert Phillips.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 5th at 3:00 p.m. in the Breakthrough Tabernacle Church in Joanna with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
