Janette Beeks Overstreet

Janette Beeks Overstreet, age 84, widow of James “Jim” William Overstreet passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at the National Health Care of Clinton.

She was born September 3, 1941 in Laurens, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late Marvin Beeks and Vera Bramlett Beeks Johnson. She was member of Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lydia Mill. Janette will be remembered as wonderful cook, a loving mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Ham (Ray) and Gail Gentry all of Clinton; her nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 67 years and her parents Janette is the last surviving member of her family.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, July 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Benny Littlejohn officiating.
