James "Jim" Wilson Murray

James “Jim” Wilson Murray, age 80, of 8580 Hwy 92 in Enoree and the widow of Barbara Murray passed away at his home Friday, June 17, 2016.
He was a member and Adult Sunday School Teacher of the Patterson Chapel United Methodist Church, an avid outdoorsman, and served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his daughter, Paula Thompson of the home; two sons, Jerry Murray of Moscow, Russia, and Mike Murray of Hickory Flat, MS; four grandchildren, Kurt Thompson, James Murray, Christopher Thompson, and Mark Murray; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 22 at 2 PM at the Patterson Chapel United Methodist Church, the family will receive friends an hour before the service at the church.
