Harold L. Crenshaw

Harold Crenshaw, age 83, widower of Linda Griffith Crenshaw, passed away, Friday, April 24, 2026 at his home.

Born January 29, 1943 in Whitmire, SC, he was the son of the late Robert L. Crenshaw and Ostell Owens Crenshaw. Harold worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed dirt track racing and high school football, but most of all he loved spending time with his great grands.

Harold is survived by his children, Lee Crenshaw, and Linda “Bonnie” Hernandez, and Matthew Crenshaw, all of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Rebecca Allison, Christopher Gaskin, Patrick Smith, and Chelsea Mann; and his great-grandchildren, Jakob Allison, McKenzie Sisk, Skyler Sisk, Nova Gaskin, Clark Crenshaw, Kayden Mann, and Ayla Gordon.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Harold was preceded in death by his brothers, Carroll Crenshaw, James W. Crenshaw, Edward C. Crenshaw, Jerry Crenshaw, and Bob Crenshaw.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with Rev. Tommy Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
