Gladys O. Young, age 75 of 621 Fleming St., died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was born in Joanna and was a daughter of the late G. J. and Helen Barton Owens. She was a retired employee of Torrington Co. and a member of the Laurens Church of God.
Surviving are her husband, Clyde Young of the home, sons, Ray A. Young and wife , Susie of Laurens and Rodney Campbell of RI; grandchildren raised in the home, Breanna Martin, Vanessa Martin and Katlynn Martin; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Gloria Dunn, Violet Haskin and Virginia Gabona and one brother, Roger Dale Owens.
She was predeceased by a son, David Campbell and a brother, Frank Owens.
Funeral services will conducted Friday, Feb. 19th at 4:00 p.m. Cryptside at Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Pinelawn Mausoleum.
