Gerry Wayne Taylor, Sr.

Gerry Wayne Taylor, Sr., age 65, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, September 7, 2024. 

 He was born July 21, 1959 in Woodruff, SC and was a son of the late Albert and Barbara Taylor.

 He is survived by his son, Wayne Taylor (Amy), he also leaves behind his grandchildren, Austin Lambert, Chelsey Taylor, Kinston Taylor, and Cayson Taylor; his three brothers, Terry Taylor, Steve Taylor, and Glenn Taylor; his two sisters, Wanda Ward and Denise Taylor; and his 10 nieces and nephews.

 In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Taylor and Dennis Taylor, a son, Ryan Taylor, and two grandsons, Bradley Lambert and Zailyn Jackson.

 A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 4 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with Pastor Ralph Byars and Rev. Fred Quidley officiating. The family will receive friends at the home following the services.

 The family will be at the home of his son, Wayne Taylor, 18 Cherokee Street, Laurens, SC 29360.
