George B. Butler

Mr. George B. Butler, age 92, of 116 Garlington Street, Laurens, entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2026 at Hospice of Laurens County.

George was the last surviving sibling of his immediate family and was the son of the late Ernest Butler and Florence Dunlap Butler.

He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Graden, and one great-granddaughter of the home, Storm.

He is preceded in death by one special friend, Sarah Gilliam Ferguson, whom was also the last sibling of her immediate family. Mr. Butler was also preceded in death by six brothers and six sisters.

He is also survived by his extended family of five daughters raised in the home, Kathy Calhoun, Harrie L. (Alfred) Gary, Sarah J. Ferguson, Linda Davis, and Georgie Mae (George Arthur) Vance; two sons, James Gilliam and Michael Ferguson; along with a host of other nieces and nephews.
