Gail Elizabeth Gilstrap Millwood, age 69, of Cross Hill, passed away on September 16, 2016.
She was born to the late Leonard & Lois Horton Gilstrap on April 27, 1947.
She married the love of her life, James Lee Paul Millwood on May 5, 1962. She was a member of the Victory Worship Center and she loved singing for the Lord.
She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting and painting canvas murals and she shared her many talents with her family and friends. She was well-known for her homemade coconut cakes & fried pies.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Paul Millwood, two daughters and three sons. Paula (John) Galloway of Laurens, Dewayne (Vicky) Millwood of Whitmire, Tammy (Joey) Pinson, Tracy Millwood and Joseph (Michelle) Millwood of Waterloo; a special nephew, Jamie Lee of Joanna; Thirteen grandchildren & nine great-grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother, Eloise Avery of Greer, Steve (Lisa) Gilstrap and Denean (Irvin) Bryant of Clinton. Sisters-in-law, Jane Gilstrap of Clinton, Alice Howell of Joanna and Lois (Dwight) Crisp of Cross Hill.
She was predeceased by a brother, Melvin Gilstrap.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 19th at 2 PM at the Victory Worship Center of Clinton with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
