Gail Reeh Glymph, age 49, of 43 Tidmarsh Drive, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015.
She was born in Lakeland, FL and was a daughter of the late Raymond Chester Reeh and Marguerite Schroll Norris.
Gail was a Paramedic with the Newberry County EMS and a Critical Care Tech with Greenville County Detention Center. She was a former EMT Instructor at Spartanburg Community College, a lifelong paramedic and a Class 3 Firefighter. She was a lifelong caregiver and had a heart big enough for all.
She is survived by her fiancé John McCarley of Whitmire; her daughter Rebecca Dale Glymph of Whitmire; her brother, Jessie C. Norris, Jr. (Rhonda) of Campobello; her sister, Cynthia Yarbrough (Scott) of Inman; her step-children, John McCarley, IV, Charles McCarley and Joshua McCarley; her grandchildren, Chase McCarley, Noah McCarley and Dalana McCarley; and her nephews, Michael Clementson, Houston Burch, Dallas Norris and her niece, Jacey Yarbrough.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 13th at 2 PM at the First Baptist Church of Whitmire with burial in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 12th from 6 to 8 PM at Gray Funeral Home of Whitmire.
