Freida Ellison Whitsel

Freida Ellison Whitsel, age 94, formerly of Joanna and widow of Edgar Allen Whitsel died Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Langston House in Clinton.
She was born in Goldville and was the daughter of the late Frank and Iris Bridges Summers.
Mrs. Whitsel was a former employee of Joanna Mills, Matron at Whitten Village and member of the Joanna Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her son Terry Ellison (Sue) of Hickory Tavern; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Stanley Ellison.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Feb 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Joanna Assembly of God Church with burial at Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service, at the church.
