Frank Milton Longshore

Frank Milton Longshore age 87, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Charleston, SC.
He was born in Newberry County and was a son of the late Charlie Herbert and Grace Dowd Longshore.
Mr. Longshore retired from Dowd Construction Company and was a former employee of Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant. He was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and was a US Marine veteran of WWII.
Surviving are his wife, Willie Gilliland Longshore; two daughters, Gloria Hunter of Rock Hill and Sandra Durham of Charleston; one brother, C.H. Longshore of Augusta; two sisters, Betty L. Magill and Nita L. Chandler of Kinards; and two grandchildren, Catherine Liebler and Anna Hunter.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
