Flo Emery Wilson

Flo Emery Wilson, age 78, widow of Grover Wilson, Jr., passed away Friday, July 18, 2025 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

She was born on March 10, 1947 in Clinton, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Floyd Emery and Jessie Rhodes Emery. She retired from Whitten Center after many years of service. Flo was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church, loved taking care of her gorgeous flowers, spending time at her beach house, “especially feeding the sea gulls” and working crossword puzzles.

Flo is survived by her son, Michael Wilson (Kristi) of Greenville; her daughters, Star Wilson Santos (Tony Ray) of Laurens and Julie Wilson (Jessica Duane) of Arizona; her three grandchildren, Alex Santos, Ben Santos, Buster Wilson; her two step grandchildren, Logan Jones, Rick Jones; her four great-grandchildren, Isla Santos, Claire Emery Santos, Drake Jones, Jaycie Jones; her three special nieces, Melrose Emery, Letha Boswell and Jessica Thomas.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM at First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Mark Entrekin officiating. The family will greet visitors from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery.
