Edna Ray Way

Edna Ray Way, age 90, passed away, Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Hospice of Laurens County.

She was born on September 10, 1935 in Walterboro, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Nord Beverly and Zelma Morris Pye and Charles Pye. Edna retired from Dillard’s in Charleston, loved her family and was of the Baptist faith.

Edna is survived by her son, Mike Way; her daughters, Donna Davis (Jimmy), Cindy Kutlu (Zeki), Drenda Hayward (Doug); her brother, Morris Pye; her sister, Della Mae Jones; her ten grandchildren and her nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by her son, Mark Way and her granddaughter, Hayden Dollason.

No services are being planned at this time. An inurnment will take place at a later date at Pinelawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
