Edith Rich Ettinger

Edith Rich Ettinger, age 96, of 408 Chestnut Street, and widow of Carl Ettinger, Jr., passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at NHC of Clinton.
She was born in Schenectady, NY and was the daughter of the late Edwin and Florence Rich.
Mrs. Ettinger was active in her community in Alexandria, VA, and Clinton, SC, those activities included Meals on Wheels, and the Northern Virginia Visiting Nurses Association. She was honored to be named Volunteer of the Year for Laurens County.
She is survived by her sons, Ed Ettinger (Cheryl) of Kinards and Carl Ettinger, III (Josephine) of Notasulga, AL; four grandchildren, Erica Eadicicco (Peter), Amber Ettinger (Cameron Kenley), Carl Ettinger, IV and Jonathan Ettinger (Dana); and one great-grandchild, Nissley Grace Ettinger.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 7th at 1 PM at Bush River Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the graveside service at the home of Ed and Cheryl Ettinger, 3028 Hopewell Church Road, Kinards, SC 29355.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615 or the charity of one’s choice.
