Dorothy "Dot" C. Davis

Dorothy “Dot” C. Davis, age 76, of 98 Huntington Road, and wife of 54 years to William Davis, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Richmond, VA, and was the daughter of the late James Morris and Dorothy Fugate Cleasby.
Mrs. Davis was a very active member of Broad Street United Methodist Church and an avid beachgoer and gardener. She had a deep love for her family and her church family, and a caring heart for all.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Davis is survived by her son, Brian Davis and wife, Mona, of Coppell, TX; her son, Cabot Davis and wife, Christie, of Annandale, VA; and five grandchildren, Lauren, Randi, Jamie, Joey and Ellie.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 8th, at 2:00 PM, at Broad Street United Methodist Church in Clinton. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in Lynchburg, VA, on Monday, October 10th, at 12:00 PM.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
